Four Weddings and a Funeral Director

By Hazel Graves

One sunny wedding planner. One grumpy funeral director. And one town that can’t handle the supernatural swap…

Lily’s life is perfect – running her family’s beloved bridal boutique and spreading joy with every wedding she plans. Mort, on the other hand, is content managing his family’s funeral home, where he can keep everything orderly and dignified. But then their worlds collide in the most unexpected way.

During a particularly dramatic proposal at a local café, a woman rejects her suitor, declaring he’s ‘dead to her’. And when a sudden storm brews, witnessed by both Lily and Mort, who are caught in the downpour, things start to go eerily haywire. The next morning, their businesses start to swap—gradually, and then all at once. The bridal boutique’s flowers wilt, dresses turn black, and cakes rot, while the funeral home becomes disturbingly festive with upbeat music and confetti cannons.

As the strange events unfold, Lily and Mort are forced to work together to manage their topsy-turvy businesses. With double bookings at the church and overlapping flower orders, there’s barely room for one of them, let alone both…

The sweet, spicy opposites-attract romance you need this year!
