Lucy is originally from Middlesex, she studied at North Wales School of Art & Design at Glyndwr University, and now lives in Devon with her 4 yr old son and fat tabby cat.
After winning an award from Hallmark for her final university show, it didn’t take long for Lucy to establish herself as a much-loved illustrator within children’s books.
She has illustrated texts with Michael Morpurgo and Julia Donaldson, as well as writing and illustrating her own book ‘The Magic Sky’.
Alberta Torres is an Italian illustrator, based in London, who has been drawing since she was 18 months old – or so her mother says! She worked as a motion graphics designer before turning to illustration, attending courses in Italy and London, including at Central Saint Martins and House of Illustration, and was awarded the Battello A Vapore Prize for Best Emerging Illustrator in 2013. Her debut picture book, I Love You as Big as a Rainbow, was published with Tiger Tales, and she is the illustrator of This Little… series published by Macmillan and of Wow! series published by Kumusha Books.
Paul Nicholls graduated with a BA Hons Degree from the North Wales School of Art & Design and has since worked for a wide variety of clients producing illustrations for the Advertising, Editorial, Fine Art, Greetings and Publishing sectors. He currently works digitally. Paul lives on the coast of Mid Wales, where he shares a studio with his partner and fellow illustrator Melanie Mitchell. In his spare time he enjoys mountain biking, golf and chasing their two children around the beach.
