Debora Robertson is a pet enthusiast, food writer and journalist who has written for the Guardian, Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail, Red, Waitrose Kitchen, Sainsbury’s Magazine, BBC Good Food Magazine, Delicious Magazine and Country Life Magazine, among many others. She lives in north London with her husband Séan, her dogs Barney and Gracie, her cat Dixie and a mountain of cookbooks.
Ben Plewes was trained as a furniture maker in the early 1990s before working for a number of London-based design consultancies and furniture manufacturers. Ben currently runs his own bespoke furniture making business.

Carl Pearce grew up in a small fishing village in North Wales in the 1980’s. Pencils permanently in hand, he lived on a diet of Saturday morning cartoons and Steven Spielberg movies. He’s been illustrating books since 2004 and now lives with his wife and kids in the hills somewhere, not too far from a beach
