She holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Washington State University and a master’s in teaching. When she’s not writing gritty war stories about women, you can usually find her trail running in the desert and stopping to pet every dog that crosses her path. She lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her family.

James Nally

James ‘Jim’ Nally is a former Fleet Street news agency reporter specialising in crime. For the past 20 years he’s directed documentaries about criminals like Kenneth Noye, Charles Bronson and Rose West.

Jim’s ghost writer credits include Unsung Hero by Kevin Fulton and he has also written the Big Fat Gypsy Weddings book and assisted ex-mercenary Simon Mann with his biography, Cry Havoc.

Linka Neumann

Linka Neumann is a Norwegian knitwear designer and outdoor enthusiast. Knitting has always been a big part of her family, but it was only when she moved to the mountain village of Røros that she felt inspired to pick up the knitting needles herself. The wilderness and the animals living in it are her greatest sources of inspiration, and the garments she designs are made to withstand Norway’s harsh winters and fresh summers. She lives with her husband and two dogs outside Oslo and shares her designs and outdoor adventures on Instagram @linka.neumann.

Mariko Nakamura

Mariko Nakamuro is a childrenswear designer living in London. She has two children.

Kerstin Neumüller

Kerstin Neumüller is a men’s tailor with her heart in handicrafts. She has spent many years studying handicrafts and the history of textiles. Together, she and Douglas Luhanko run the shop Second Sunrise in Stockholm.
