Stuart Hillard

Internationally recognized, Stuart Hillard has built a fantastic reputation as one of the UK’s leading quilt designers, teachers and home décor experts with over twenty five years experience and more than 100 published patterns to his name. Stuart is a monthly columnist with Sew magazine and British Patchwork and Quilting among others. Known as the maverick star of the first series of BBC2’s The Great British Sewing Bee, alongside Tilly Walnes and Lauren Guthrie, his approach is fun, fresh, inclusive and achievable. He also makes often television appearances, including being a guest judge on Channel 4’s primetime Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas, and a regular presenter on craft television in the UK and USA. He has represented global companies including Accuquilt, Bernina, HandiQuilter and Gütermann at trade and consumer craft shows globally.

Ollie Hunter

Ollie Hunter was a MasterChef semi-finalist in 2013 and since then he and his wife, Lauren, have taken over The Wheatsheaf pub in Chilton Foliat. Working in collaboration with his parents’ nearby farm, it has been voted the UK’s most sustainable pub (Sustainable Restaurant Association), as well as the best organic, local and seasonal pub (Sawday’s). Ollie has written for the Sustainable Restaurant Association in the Telegraph and the Guardian.

Ollie is now continuing his mission and creating a movement called 30 Food. Picking up the baton for generations to come, 30 Food will offer new ways of cooking, meaning everyone can afford organic food, aim to have zero food waste, and celebrate their local area by eating 50% within thirty miles.

Hao Hao

Based in Beijing, Hao Hao majored in stage design at the city’s Central Academy of Drama, but her passion for painting has led to a highly successful career in illustration.

Mike Haskins

Mike Haskins is a professional joke writer who has written TV and radio material for just about everybody – Griff Rhys Jones and Mel Smith, Simon Pegg, Graeme Garden, Steve Coogan, Mitchell and Webb and Smack the Pony. His other publications include The Old Ones are the Best, Man Walks into a Bar and our very own When in Rome.

Lilly Hedley

Lilly Hedley is an illustrator, printmaker and food producer based in North Wales. In 2016, Lilly co-founded the multi award-winning foraging food company, The Bridge Lodge, with Angus. She was recently included in the Business Wales ‘Top 30 People Under 30’ in Wales.

Sarah Hamilton

Sarah Hamilton is an artist and designer based in South London, whose work is inspired by colour, nature and midcentury design. She began her career as an artist handprinting greetings cards for Paperchase, The Conran Shop and Habitat, and cards are still a significant part of her practice. In 2014 she started the Just a Card campaign to support independent artists and retailers, after seeing yet another small gallery close down. Its message is that even the smallest sale plays a huge part in keeping independent design businesses afloat.

Emily Haworth-Booth

Emily Haworth-Booth is an award-winning author, illustrator and educator who teaches at the Royal Drawing School in London, England. Alongside her children’s picture books, Emily is currently working on a long-form graphic memoir for adults. Her short comics have previously appeared in print in the Observer and Vogue. Along with her sister, Alice Haworth-Booth, she is an activist with Extinction Rebellion.

Andy the Highlander

Andy McAlindon, aka Andy the Highlander, is a Scottish content creator and tour guide who shares his love for his homeland with the world. His videos have accumulated tens of millions of views online and he has followers from all around the world united by their love for Scotland. Before all that, Andy was a qualified electrician and owned his own business for many years before deciding to pursue his passion for acting. This led him to an opportunity to appear in Outlander, which in turn sparked Andy’s interest in real Jacobite and Scottish history. This spark turned into a flame, leading to Andy purchasing a full Jacobite outfit and getting online – his video on how to wear the plaid went viral with over 5.3 million views in the first 30 days. Andy now takes guests from all over the world around Scotland with his company Highlander Tours and has established himself as one of Scotland’s best, and busiest, guides. Andy McAlindon resides in Glasgow.

Chris Haddon

Chris Haddon is a multi-disciplinary designer with over 20 years experience. He has a huge passion for all things retro and among his collection of vintage caravans is his studio which is a converted 1960s Airstream. He had for many years hankered after the perfect classic car to accompany his retro caravans. The journey that he took when looking for the car he now owns led him to admire and consider many various possibilities along the way.
